What are YOU WILLING to give to know God?

"We are all in this together. With fellow ward members and missionaries, we plan and pray and help one another. Please keep the full-time missionaries in your thoughts and prayers. Trust them with your family and friends. The Lord trusts them and has called them to teach and bless those who seek Him."
Elder Neil L. Andersen

I have a little Spiritual message for you...

Alma chapter 22:  Aaron is talking with the King; the Father of Lamoni and he wanted to know if there was a God. He said he believed Aaron and in vs:15 he asked 'What shall I do?" to gain eternal life and joy" he said "I will give up all that I possess, yea, I will forsake my kingdom."

What are YOU WILLING to give to know God?

Really. Some of the early pioneers.  Our ancestors gave up so much.
Even their homes and their lives.

To KNOW GOD.

I think the most I've ever given up has been what I've given up on my mission. So, I made a list.  I encourage you all to do the same.

(My companion helped me with this list ;)

I've given up..

my time
devotion
pride
hobbies

graphic tees
midnight snacks
chill time

my old self!

YIKES LOOK AT THAT LIST!

Then I went back and circled the things that actually REALLY MATTER.

Which were really, ultimately...
My Family,
My Relationships,
My Knowledge / Education
My time and Devotion.

the things that really matter and are important to me - are important to God.
and HE recognized that.

So when you put God first.
He blesses you and helps make those thing become better.

My relationships are stronger.
with friends and family alike.

My knowledge has expounded beyond belief!

My time and devotion have turned into a skill that couldn't be better spent than out here on a mission.

When you put the Lord first you are blessed.
So what are you willing to give?

I'm definitely excited to bring back some of my old hobbies when I get home but I know there is no better way to spend these eighteen months of my life right now!

I'm exactly where I need to be.

I got an email from a friend this week asking about missions.
What the best part of a mission was, the hardest part,
and if you really learn that much out there that you wouldn't learn at home...
can i just say...

YES YES AND YES.

If you feel you should go on a mission.
GO.
Do it.

It's so Hard.
but it's so great.

and yes.
you learn more than you could ever imagine learning
spending a trillion dollars at college or at home.

I'm serious.

I love you all.
Thanks for all the love and support and encouragement.

I am so blessed.

If you have any questions send me mail because mail is the best gift ever!

I apologize yet again for my handwriting.....
but cut me some slack. we got no time.

I expect great amounts of letters after this snow storm disperses.

Love you guys so much!! Keep being awesome.

love Sister Stucki
