Home (Part 2)

my fave human is home everybody. he is back

This is me being apologetic for taking x amount of days too long to post the majority of these pictures but what did you expect, SPENCER IS HOME. His plane arrived fifteen minutes early (woohoo) last wednesday and we were all more than 'excited' to see his face.

But its been worth it to see him come home with tons of growth, experience, mission stories, advanced ukelele skills, dunk shots (even though i beat him in speed ;) and possibly even an inch of height.

Its just been really, really happy to have my best friend back.

Heres a vid link below:

(warner valley stars not pictured sorry)

(din w/ grandpa adams he aint pictured either sorry)

(skimming at virgin river)

(friends from my mission)

(still in IN time, still cute tho)

(taylors homecoming day, tay not pictured. hahaha)

(post mission hangouts, highschool buddies)

(being an elder fro two years probs)

(convertible probs)

& a quick teaser for those of you that ever so diligently read this blog:

This week we got complimentary chocolates from McArthur Jewlers
*wink wink*

But imma bounce now cause, work.

Stay tuned,

Seven Hundred & Thirty

literally, slowest week ever.

Well frankly most of it was spent looking into the depth of three LCD screens so that probably had the majority to do with it. But none the less im incredibly greatful and indebted to my wonderful Fort Belvoir buddies that came from VA and made some quite lovely memories with me this week.

see video link below

HIGHLIGHT: Kailee Gooch finally got home from serving a mission in Korea! It took a lot of effort not to have instant water works, i love having my friends highschool friends beginning to come home! Its so strange (in the best way) to see how different everyone is, yet how the same they are too. I love that even after two years we can laugh and enjoy old memories and good times.

Life right now.

But really the best news of the day, week, month, year is that tomorrow
Elder Rhoton is flying home.

729 days ago i remember eating pasta with spencer.
Yeah, pasta.

& then laughing and then crying and then laughing and then crying
& then sitting on my driveway trying not to cry again
& then mom walks outside to say goodbye and starts crying
& then ty walks up to say goodbye and feels awkward b/c tears

& then after several hours of trying to make the best of the last day you'll see eachother for two years it was just like

'i'll see you in.... two years...'

& then you just kind of watch as he gets in the car and drives away
& you just sit there thinking two years

730 days

'thats a long time'

& then painfully slow but also incrediby quick at the same time
which seems contradicting....

Two years flies right by and now its here.
I cant believe it.

I mean 1,460 days ago we were probably little sophomores at a Highschool football game
& now im home from spending eighteen months in virgina

& im almost twenty one

& spencer is coming home

& how is it even august 2015?

So pray i can actually sleep tonight.

Because i've never waited 730 days for anything in my life
& 730 days is finally up

& he is coming home.

Previous to returning home from DC/VA i compiled a massive 'todo' list for home. I finally got around to checking some boxes on it. Starting with my newest little investment of the 'gopro hero' and i love it already. Ty and i took out the DB and went skimming. Video link below

I'm feeling real unpoetic tonight. Probably b/c i used all my typing skills and energy in writing all my favorite missonaries all day. So that leaves me here dead tired and sick of staring at a computer screen. Sorry for the lame post but also who cares.

The most exciting news of this week is that after this week is over, Elder Rhoton comes home. I wrote the last letter i'll (hopefully) ever write to Indiana approx. five minutes ago. Thats a wild thought. BUT DANG CAN WE SAY EXCITING?!

Next week

Da boy is home.

The rest of these are classic brother pictures.
thats really all.

Work, good
Life, good
I have no more words to say.

oh yeah, except that im learning how to play chess from a five year old.

Mostly im just counting down the hours for next week but until then....

Be awesome.
